Miracle Makers

Would you like to bring hope and joy to the life of a child?

Imagine being a sick child in an emergency department requiring a blood draw or in a recovery room after a surgical procedure. How about in isolation in an in-patient pediatric room, a tiny preemie in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), or a special needs child needing medically beneficial items or services?

You may wonder what items or services can improve a child’s experience in critical life moments. Let me share how we at Salinas Valley Health make a positive impact.

For children visiting the Salinas Valley Health Medical Center, it is comfort care items such as stuffed animals, toys, coloring books, stickers, iPads with Disney+ subscriptions, pajamas, and specially sized diapers for the littlest patients.

Beyond the walls of our medical center, in the wider tri-county area, our services extend to aquatic and equestrian therapies for autistic kids, therapy devices, hearing aids, generators, adaptive chairs, oxygen concentrators, and exercise mats for children with Down syndrome to supplement occupational therapy at home.

Are you wondering how you can make a difference? You can become a beacon of hope by joining our Monthly Miracle Makers program. As a Monthly Miracle Maker, you can contribute to providing the best pediatric health and wellness resources with a monthly gift of $15, $25, $50, $100, or an amount of your choice.
